As a Sales and Marketing professional, you'll help us grow our business by finding new clients, understanding their needs, and showing them how Tekdis solutions across all our focus areas, including AI can create value. This role gives you hands-on experience in business development and marketing while learning about the diverse products and services we offer.
Find New Clients: Research and identify potential clients in education, government, and social sectors. Reach out through emails, calls, LinkedIn, and networking events to create interest in our solutions.
Understand Client Needs: Have conversations with clients to understand their challenges. Learn what they need and figure out if our products can help them (don't worry, we'll train you on our products!).
Present Solutions: Create presentations and proposals showing how our solutions solve client problems. Work with our technical team to prepare demos and respond to client queries.
Manage existing clients: Maintain regular communication with existing clients, understand their evolving needs, resolve issues quickly, and look for opportunities to strengthen the partnership.
Support Marketing: Help create content for social media, write case studies and blogs, coordinate events, and track how our marketing campaigns are performing.
Build Relationships: Maintain regular contact with clients and partners. Keep them updated, gather feedback, and look for opportunities to work together on new projects.
Track Your Progress: Use CRM tools to maintain records of your leads, meetings, and opportunities. Work toward monthly and quarterly targets with support from your team.
Education: MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development. Bachelor's degree in any field (we especially welcome candidates with engineering or tech backgrounds).
Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi. You should be comfortable talking to people, presenting ideas, and writing emails and proposals.
Interest in Technology & AI: You don't need to be a tech expert, but you should have proficiency in AI tools like ChatGPT, and how they can make your day-to-day job easy.
Basic Business Understanding: You know the basics of how businesses work, what B2B sales means, and have studied marketing fundamentals in your MBA.
Self-Motivated: You are highly driven, You take initiative, don't wait to be told what to do, and can manage your own work. You're comfortable reaching out to new people and following up on leads.
Good with People: You enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and working in a team. You're respectful, empathetic, and professional.
Problem Solver: You can think through problems, analyze situations, and come up with practical solutions. You're not afraid of challenges.
Computer Skills: Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google tools. You can learn new software quickly (we'll train you on CRM and other tools we use). Good to Have (Bonus Points)
Hands-on internship experience or real-world project work in sales, marketing, or business development (college projects are welcome if they involved actual clients, users, or market interaction)
Interest or exposure to education technology, government digital services, or agriculture technology
Basic familiarity with AI tools (like using ChatGPT) or understanding of how AI is changing different industries
Any writing samples, blogs, or social media content you've created
