JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES EXECUTIVE- TIER 3 CITIES (SOLAR ROOFTOP DIVISON) POSITION : SALES EXECUTIVE INDUSTRY: SOLAR ENERGY (ROOFTOP SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION) LOCATION: TIER 3 CITIES OF UTTAR PRADESH, UTTRAKHAND & ODISHA TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Daily field visits within assigned city/district. Two- Wheeler with valid license is a must. ROLE OBJECTIVE To directly engage with customers in Tier 3 cities, generate leads, convert them to rooftop solar sales, and support smooth project execution while ensuring customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: LEAD GENERATION & CUSTOMER OUTREACH Conduct door to door visits,community meeting, and local events to generate Leads Identify potential customers including households, small businesses,school and institution. Educate customers on the benefit of solar rooftops systems,subsidy schemes and financing options. SALES CONVERSION Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and referrals. Explain product features, cost-benefit analysis, and installation process. Achieve a target of 10 confirmed rooftop sales per month CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Build trust maintain long term relationship with customers. Resolve basic queries and escalate technical/installation issues to the operation team. Ensure smooth customer handover after installation. COORDINATION & REPORTING Report daily sales activities and progress to the Group Leader/Team manager. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure timely execution of sales commitments. Maintain accurate customer data and sales funnel reports. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Strong communication and persuasion skills. Basic understanding of solar rooftop systems(training will be provided). Confidence in handling fieldwork and customer interactions. Ability to speak local languages(Hindi and odia preferred). Two-wheeler with valid license is a must. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate/ Diploma in any discipline (Engineering/ science/commerce preferred). 1-3 years of experience in sales/field marketing (solar/renewable/FMCG/consumer durable preferred). Freshers with strong motivation and willingness to learn may also apply. PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) Achievement of 10 rooftop sales per month. Number of quality leads generated and converted. Customer satisfaction and referrals. Timely reporting and coordination with supervisors.
