Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager / AVP Business Development, you will be responsible for leading international sales growth and client engagement across the U.S., Europe, and/or APAC markets. Your role will be strategic and execution-focused, involving managing client relationships, leading sales initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve business outcomes. Your strong background in selling services and SaaS products, especially in patent research, will be crucial in executing sales initiatives and understanding client needs to provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute international business development strategies to meet sales targets across key global regions. - Build rapport with prospects, present tailored solutions, and convert leads into long-term clients. - Coordinate with internal teams to align efforts for maximum impact. - Provide strategic direction for outbound campaigns, ensure team follow-through, and assist in refining the sales funnel. - Translate technical or domain-specific client needs into actionable service proposals and engagement models. - Identify new markets and opportunities for growth and implement plans for outreach and penetration. - Track business development metrics and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes. Qualification Required: - Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering. - Experience: 5-12 years of experience in international business development, preferably in SaaS or knowledge services. - Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in closing deals and consistently achieving revenue targets. - Global B2B Expertise: Extensive experience in global B2B client interaction and solution selling. - Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic thinking and leadership ability. - Leadership Exposure: Experience managing a team of business development executives and coordinating cross-functional units. - Domain Understanding: Technical or domain-specific knowledge to effectively articulate service benefits to clients.
