Job Description

Implement and monitor Global EHS Guidelines and local statutory requirements. Conduct risk assessments, HIRA, JSA, and ensure LOTO compliance in all processes. Support shop-floor safety under TPS principles: Kaizen, Genchi Genbutsu, Jidoka, 5S, Standardized Work. Carry out daily Gemba safety walks and resolve unsafe conditions immediately. Lead safety audits for pressing, welding, paint shop, assembly, logistics, and utility areas. Investigate incidents/near misses using Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone). Maintain safety documentation, permits (Hot Work, Confined Space), and statutory records. Conduct training on PPE usage, equipment safety, ERT response, and evacuation drills. Coordinate contractor safety management and ensure compliance with Toyota safety rules. Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) for reducing risks and improving workplace ergonomics. Assist in machine guarding checks, equipment validation, and ergonomics assessments. Prepare monthly safety reports and present findings to management. Qualifications & Skills:Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering. Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH preferred. 2–6 years of experience in automotive manufacturing (Toyota/Tier-1 supplier experience is a plus). Knowledge of TPS, lean manufacturing tools, safety standards, and statutory norms. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
