Job Description

Site Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all
statutory safety regulations
, site documentation, and reporting standards.
Develop and implement
Emergency Response Plans
,
Safe Work Procedures (SWPs)
, and
safety standards
.
Conduct regular
safety training, assessments
, and
mock drills
for site personnel.
Carry out
behavioral safety assessments
and implement corrective actions.
Maintain and audit safety documentation, permits, and registers.
Lead safety meetings, tool box talks, and incident investigations.

Key Requirements:

Minimum
7 years of safety experience
in large industrial construction projects (500+ personnel).
Sound knowledge of
OSHA Standards
and
Factory Act 1948
.
Proficient in
site safety practices, inspections, audits
, and compliance documentation.
Strong communication skills in
local language
(speaking & reading mandatory).
Willingness to
learn, adapt, and improve
behavioral safety practices.
