RPA Developer (Level 2)

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Perform feasibility analysis and provide recommendations on automation suitability.
  

Solution Design & Development

• Design scalable and reusable RPA solutions, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
• Develop, test, and deploy RPA bots using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Implement exception handling, logging, and secure credential management in automation workflows.
  

Testing & Deployment

• Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support for RPA bots.
• Ensure smooth deployment in production environments with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with IT teams for environment setup, versioning, and release management.
  

Support & Maintenance

• Provide Level 2 support for RPA bots, troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes.
• Monitor bot performance and optimize existing workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to SLA for incident management and change requests.
  

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain detailed documentation of RPA processes, technical specifications, and deployment instructions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance policies, security guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance existing automations and optimize processes.
• Stay updated with the latest RPA trends, frameworks, and integration capabilities (AI/ML, OCR, APIs).
• Mentor junior developers (L1) and share best practices within the automation team.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–4 years of proven hands-on experience with RPA development (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, VB.NET, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of SQL, APIs, and web services integration.
• Experience in orchestrator tools for scheduling, monitoring, and managing bots.
• Familiarity with OCR, AI/ML integrations, and Intelligent Automation solutions is a plus.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across business and IT teams.
