Overview The RPA Developer L1 is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the design, development, and deployment of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions within the organization. Working under the guidance of senior developers or RPA leads, this role involves hands-on development using RPA tools and technologies to automate repetitive tasks and streamline business processes. Responsibilities Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and process workflows targeted for automation. Document requirements accurately and comprehensively. Solution Design: Assist in the design and architecture of RPA solutions, including process mapping, identifying automation opportunities, and defining bot workflows. Bot Development: Develop RPA bots using designated RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Ampliforce, Automation Anywhere and any other RPA Tools) to automate identified processes. Write scripts, configure workflows, and implement logic to achieve automation objectives. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of RPA bots to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliability. Debug issues and errors encountered during development and testing phases. Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of RPA bots into production environments. Collaborate with IT teams to configure environments, manage deployments, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Documentation: Maintain documentation of RPA processes, workflows, configurations, and test cases. Keep documentation updated with any changes or enhancements made to the RPA solutions. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on the use of RPA solutions. Address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance to ensure successful adoption and utilization of automation technologies. Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for further automation, efficiency gains, and optimization of existing RPA solutions. Compliance and Governance: Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and best practices related to RPA development, security, and data privacy. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in RPA technologies and automation methodologies. Pursue relevant training and certifications to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) is preferred. Familiarity with RPA concepts and tools is desirable but not mandatory. Training or certification in RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of project goals and objectives.
