As a Robotics Engineer , you will utilise your expertise in RAPID programming, sensor technologies, and advanced kinematics (forward and inverse) to transform manufacturing workflows and solve industry-critical challenges. What You’ll Do Tech You Will Perform Program ABB IRB 2600 robots using RAPID programming to automate welding operations. Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robot hardware and control systems. Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to integrate robotic solutions seamlessly. Ensure robotic systems perform efficiently and reliably through regular maintenance and proactive improvements. Participate actively in problem-solving sessions and support continuous improvement initiatives. Document robotic processes, procedures, and best practices clearly and comprehensively. Who You Are Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience working with industrial robots, preferably ABB IRB 2600. Strong proficiency in RAPID programming or similar for industrial automation. Solid understanding of robotic control systems, sensors, and actuator technologies. Hands-on experience with robot maintenance and troubleshooting. Previous welding experience is highly advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
