As a Risk Regulatory Oversight - VP CCR at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in evolving the digital landscape and ensuring unparalleled customer experiences by leveraging cutting-edge technology. Your key responsibilities will include: - Understanding Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) models and associated risk management frameworks. - Knowledge of Basel 3.1 CVA methods - Standardized Approach for CVA (SACVA) and Basic Approach for CVA (BACVA), including regulatory implications and implementation aspects. - Assisting in the interpretation and application of Basel IV requirements, particularly in the context of CCR and CVA. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Experience or understanding of self-attestation processes for regulatory compliance, including review and challenge of submissions to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. - Strong assertive communication skills to effectively engage with senior stakeholders, internal teams, and regulators. - Familiarity with the regulatory permissions process, including applications, amendments, and managing ongoing compliance with granted permissions. - Ability to handle regulatory articles and ensure alignment with requirements by managing necessary attestations. - Support in the implementation of risk management policies, standards, procedures, and controls across the bank. - Assessment and promotion of risk management awareness and culture. - Review, challenge, and monitoring of the effectiveness of existing risk management practices and identification of areas for improvement. - Identification of new and emerging risks, assessing likelihood and impact, and recommending mitigation strategies. - Management and operation of associated committees, forums, and meetings. - Maintenance of risk inventories and governance documentation. Desirable skillsets: - Advising key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment. - Managing and mitigating risks through assessment to support the control and governance agenda. - Demonstrating leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls. - Comprehensive understanding of the organization's functions to contribute to achieving business goals. - Collaborating with other areas for business-aligned support and strategies. - Developing solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought and in-depth analysis. - Building and maintaining trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business objectives. This role will be based out of Pune.
