As a Senior Associate Contracts based in Mumbai with 2+ years of experience and an LL.B qualification, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts with vendors and clients. You should be well versed with marketing, technology, and IP agreements and have the ability to independently manage agreements end to end. Your duties will include taking proper action to close out contracts in accordance with applicable procedures, interpreting contracts to advise the business team on contractual responsibilities, and preparing legal templates for standard agreements. It will be your responsibility to keep track of changing laws and identify the applicability of various laws for all business areas. In this role, you will also mentor and coach junior team members, ensure timely follow-up with vendors/customers and consultants, and provide the necessary information as and when needed. You will be expected to drive automation and training for the business team to reduce legal involvement in day-to-day activities and promote self-reliance.
