Core Responsibilities

End-to-End Validation

Complete Journey Testing

• Execute full end-to-end functional testing across all critical e-commerce modules : browsing, product search, shopping cart management, seamless checkout, secure payments, and reliable order tracking.
  

System Integration Testing

• Validate complex integrations with crucial external systems like ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, and Logistics tools to ensure data flow integrity across the ecosystem.
  

Acceptance Testing

• Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders, verifying functionality against real-world use cases before go-live.
  

Test Artifacts

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites to ensure consistent platform quality.
  

Defect Lifecycle

• Identify, log clearly, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely verification and resolution.
  

Release Support

• Actively participate in release validation, smoke testing, and final quality checks.
  

Business Analysis & Quality Mapping

• Translate complex business requirements (BRDs/FSDs) and high-level workflows into detailed,
  

Coverage & Personas

• Ensure comprehensive functional coverage across all diverse customer journeys and user personas.
  

Collaboration

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, retrospectives) to ensure testing activities are fully aligned with development sprints and quality goals.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of hands-on functional testing or Quality Assurance (QA) experience, with a required background in e-commerce platforms or online retail systems.
  

Platform Expertise

• Hands-on experience with major e-commerce technologies : Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WooCommerce, Magento, or robust custom-built solutions.
  

Technical Acumen

• Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, etc.) and robust data validation techniques across integrated systems.
  

Documentation

• Proven ability to create, manage, and utilise test cases, BRDs, and UAT documentation.
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  

Mindset

• Highly analytical, with exceptional attention to detail and a relentless focus on the end-user
