Retail Store Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Operations Management

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
• Oversee billing, cash handling, stock display, and inventory control.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for smooth store functioning.

2. Sales & Customer Service

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally.
• Build strong relationships with institutional clients, schools, and corporate customers for bulk uniform orders.
• Promote new collections, offers, and company branding within the store.

3. Team Management

• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff including sales executives and cashiers.
• Motivate the team to achieve individual and team goals.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance.

4. Inventory & Merchandising

• Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and production units for inventory requirements.
• Ensure proper display and tagging of uniforms, accessories, and other products.
• Conduct monthly stock audits and report variances.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with accounts and HR for billing, petty cash, and staff-related matters.
• Provide feedback to management on product demand, customer preferences, and market trends.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in retail store management (experience in garment/uniform sector preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in POS systems, MS Office, and basic inventory management software.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
