Location: Bengaluru, Kudlu Gate Experience: 2-3 Years Salary: Up to 10 LPA Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Retail Planner to support our retail planning team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of sales data analysis, inventory management, and merchandise planning to assist in optimizing stock levels and supporting sales objectives. This role involves working closely with the retail planning team and sales staff to ensure inventory aligns with customer demand and business goals, without team lead responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Inventory and Sales Support: Assist in analyzing sales data, stock levels, and trends to support optimal inventory levels for store locations. Help develop sales forecasts and inventory plans based on company guidelines, upcoming events, and replenishment needs. Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory for replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability. Support initiatives to improve inventory efficiency and contribute to sales growth. Merchandise and Allocation Assistance: Support the planning team in creating allocation plans based on product demand, store performance, and seasonality. Assist in merchandise planning by tracking sales, forecasts, and inventory status through MIS analytics. Help maintain stock ageing standards and stock turns as per company policy. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Review sales reports to identify underperforming products or stores and suggest improvements under senior guidance. Collaborate with sales staff to address allocation-related queries and provide operational support. Generate basic MIS reports and analytics on sales performance and stock levels for review by the planning team. Key Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years in retail planning, inventory management, or sales analysis, preferably in the fashion or retail industry. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of sales data analysis and inventory management. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with inventory management software is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning. Knowledge: Basic understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, and demand forecasting.
