As a Retail Merchandise Specialist (Allocation & Distribution) at SWEET DREAMS in Ahmedabad, your role will involve managing product life-cycle and enhancing store performance through data-driven strategies. Here are the key responsibilities you will handle: - Inventory Management - Monitor stock levels to ensure availability and optimal turnover. - Avoid stock-outs/overstocking through effective safety stock and buffer planning. - Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and restocking. - Stock Replenishment - Implement and manage replenishment processes. - Ensure fast-moving and best-selling items are restocked promptly. - Sales Analysis & Forecasting - Analyze sales trends to identify strong/weak performing SKUs. - Forecast future sales based on data insights. - Adjust stock plans based on real-time demand. - Product Allocation & Distribution - Distribute products based on store demographics and sales performance. - Optimize product availability while minimizing excess stock. - Seasonal & Trend Analysis - Incorporate fashion trends and seasonal inputs into planning. - Maintain alignment with the brand identity. - Stock Rotation & Lifecycle Management - Ensure effective product rotation and clearance of ageing stock. - Strategically highlight new arrivals. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with store teams and supply chain for seamless product flow. - Partner with visual merchandising for strategic product display. - Market & Competitor Analysis - Study market and competitors to inform assortment and pricing decisions. - Trend Forecasting & Innovation - Stay ahead of fashion trends and suggest innovative product ideas. - Training & Development - Share product knowledge and sales insights with store staff to boost conversions.
