Role Overview: Heads Up For Tails is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to drive sales, enhance brand awareness, and increase customer engagement in retail environments. As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans across various channels, including in-store, regional, digital, and hyperlocal platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams and external partners to bring the brand to life store by store and city by city. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies tailored to retail needs and business goals. - Lead local and regional campaigns to drive footfall and customer engagement. - Build annual retail marketing calendars aligned with national brand plans. - Execute in-store and omnichannel campaigns to boost sales and customer loyalty. - Utilize data and customer insights to optimize campaign effectiveness. - Plan and execute engaging events to build community and drive meaningful connections. - Manage end-to-end execution of digital and in-store promotions, ensuring alignment with brand identity. - Monitor campaign performance, analyze sales uplift, and manage budgets effectively. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. - Stay updated on industry trends and consumer behavior to bring innovation to your work. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. - 6+ years of relevant experience in retail marketing, preferably in lifestyle, fashion, FMCG, or pet care industries. - Strong understanding of local/regional marketing, retail dynamics, and consumer behavior. - Excellent project management and organizational skills with a sharp eye for retail. - Creativity with a practical approach to execution. - Proficiency in marketing platforms and tools such as CRM, email, analytics, SEO/SEM, digital ads, and social media. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a willingness to travel. - Experience in data analytics and report creation to analyze customer cohorts and plan targeted campaigns for driving footfalls.
