Job Summary :

Hype Café & Bistro is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Café & Bistro Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and banquet hall. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth business operations, maintain service excellence, manage staff, handle cash and inventory, and drive revenue growth while meeting daily and monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Supervision

  • Oversee daily café, bistro, and banquet hall operations.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of kitchen, service staff, and front office.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and ambience as per brand standards.
  • Monitor staff punctuality, grooming, and performance.

Cash & Financial Management

  • Manage daily cash flow, POS transactions, and billing accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain daily sales and expense reports.
  • Deposit cash collections as per company policy.
  • Reduce wastage and monitor cost efficiency.

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Maintain accurate stock of raw materials, beverages, and supplies.
  • Conduct daily/weekly inventory checks.
  • Place orders with vendors on time to avoid shortages.
  • Prevent pilferage and ensure proper storage of goods.

Banquet Hall Management

  • Handle bookings, scheduling, and customer requirements for functions.
  • Coordinate with event organizers for smooth execution of events.
  • Ensure banquet hall arrangements (seating, décor, food service) meet client expectations.
  • Maintain proper utilization and profitability of banquet hall.

Sales & Targets

  • Work towards achieving monthly sales and revenue targets.
  • Implement upselling techniques for food, beverages, and banquet bookings.
  • Generate leads and promote the café & banquet hall for events and gatherings.

Team Management & Customer Service

  • Train and motivate staff to deliver excellent guest experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality and service.
  • Foster a positive and disciplined work culture.

Daily Routine (Expectations)

  • Conduct opening & closing checklist of café and banquet areas.
  • Brief staff on daily targets, reservations, and special events.
  • Track daily sales, expenses, and inventory updates.
  • Ensure smooth execution of service during peak hours.
  • Submit end-of-day sales & cash report to management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in F&B management / hospitality / café / banquet operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cash handling & inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-first attitude with problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
