Job Description

Position Overview:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, high-quality guest experience, and efficient team management. The role involves maintaining operational standards, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Monitor opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely and quality food delivery.

2. Guest Service & Experience

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Build rapport with regular guests and encourage repeat business.

3. Staff Management

  • Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff (service, cashier, host, etc.).
  • Prepare staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular briefings and performance reviews.

4. Financial & Inventory Control

  • Monitor daily sales, cash flow, and cost control measures.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize wastage.

5. Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain records of sales, expenses, and payroll.
  • Prepare daily and monthly performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and licensing laws.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-oriented with problem-solving attitude.
  • Good understanding of F&B operations and cost control.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant software preferred.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or F&B management.
  • Experience in casual dining or premium café/restaurant setup preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
