About The Thalakaveri Cafe

THE THALAKAVERI CAFE is a QSR concept inspired by the authentic tiffins and recipes from the Kaveri region. We aim to bring rooted, traditional South Indian flavors to modern dining with consistency, quality, and discipline.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH). The role demands leadership in setting up SOPs, driving discipline, motivating manpower, controlling costs, and ensuring seamless guest experiences with consistency in food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

Oversee FOH & BOH operations ensuring smooth daily functioning.

Implement and monitor SOPs & systems for all restaurant processes.

Maintain discipline and compliance across staff and operations.

Ensure service consistency with quick turnaround times for QSR model.

Manpower & Team Leadership

Recruit, train, schedule, and manage restaurant staff.

Motivate team members through coaching, recognition, and engagement.

Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and guest-first attitude.

Food & Service Quality

Monitor food quality and taste consistency as per brand standards.

Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols are strictly followed.

Resolve customer feedback and complaints with professionalism.

Financial & Cost Control

Maintain tight control over food cost, wastage, and inventory.

Optimize manpower planning to balance productivity and cost.

Assist in setting sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Requirements :

3–6 years of experience in QSR / casual dining restaurant management.

Strong understanding of both FOH & BOH operations.

Proven track record of food cost control and operational efficiency.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Ability to build discipline and culture while motivating the team.

Knowledge of FSSAI guidelines and hygiene/safety standards.
