About Café Cotinga

Café Cotinga is a multi-cuisine restaurant set in the serene garden courtyard of The Tamarind Hotel in Anjuna, Goa .

Role & Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations (front of house, bar, and service) ensuring high standards of guest experience and service.

Manage a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff — recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management.

Maintain smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient order execution and food quality.

Monitor profitability — manage costs (labor, inventory), control wastage, and contribute to revenue growth.

Handle guest feedback, complaints, and ensure service recovery when needed.

Work with the culinary and event teams for special occasions (live music nights, private dining, buffet breakfasts).

Collaborate with marketing or hotel management to drive promotions, reservations, and customer loyalty initiatives.

Maintain vendor relationships, manage inventory, and oversee procurement of food, beverages, and supplies.

Prepare regular reports for senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

4-6 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a multi-cuisine or upscale dining environment.

Strong leadership skills, with experience managing front-of-house and bar teams.

Excellent customer service orientation — ability to deliver a refined, relaxed, and welcoming guest experience.

Good financial acumen — cost control, budgeting, P&L management.

Strong communication skills (fluency in English a must )

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Experience in event management or live-music dining outlets is a plus.

Location :The Tamarind Hotel, Anjuna, Goa.
