Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Front of House Manager
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: 25,000/- to 30,000/-

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and welcoming Hostess to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and positive start to their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and guiding guests to their tables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage the waitlist and seating using a reservation or POS system.
• Maintain an organized and efficient front desk and reception area.
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and introducing their server when needed.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Monitor dining areas to ensure tables are available and clean for incoming guests.
• Communicate guest preferences or special occasions to servers or management.
• Maintain a clean and presentable host station and entrance area at all times.
• Ensure a smooth flow of service by coordinating with waitstaff and kitchen staff.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and escalate when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or POS software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
