Role Overview

Financial Planning to

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Prepare

  project budgets, cost baselines, and financial forecasts

  in alignment with business objectives.
• Track

  budget vs. actuals

  regularly and flag variances early with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost allocation.

2. Invoicing & Revenue Management

• Support the Finance team in raising invoices for client projects.
• Track

  receivables

  to ensure timely payments from clients.
• Manage

  vendor payments and software subscription payments

  using Zoho.
• Maintain accurate records of

  SOWs, WOs, MSAs, and NDAs

  for all projects.
• Track

  billable vs. non-billable resources

  to ensure accurate project costing.
• Oversee

  timesheet management for consultants

  and ensure timely submissions.

3. Forecasting & Projections

• Estimate

  future revenue and cost projections

  based on sales pipeline and current utilization.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare periodic reports on utilization, profitability, and project financial health.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
• 4–7 years of experience in

  financial planning, budgeting, or project finance

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  invoicing, revenue recognition, and vendor payment processes

  .
• Proficiency in

  Zoho Books/Zoho Projects

  or similar financial/project management tools.
• Excellent skills in

  MS Excel

  (financial modeling, projections, variance analysis).
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams.
