Research Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Mechanical Research Engineer to join our R&D team.The ideal candidate will contribute to the design,testing, analysis and development of advance mechanical systesm and components, driving innovation in performance, efficiency, and reliability. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, hands- on experimental skills , and a passion for applied research and product development.

Key Responsibility:

• Lead and support research initiatives focused on the design, modelling, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Develop analytical and computational models to predict mechanical performance under various operating conditions.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyse results to validate models and guide design optimization.
• Investigate and implement new materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into products.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to patent applications, publications, and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in mechanical design, R&D, or related engineering fields.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and solid mechanics.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion360 or AutoCAD).

• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, STARCCM, NASTRAN, OPENFOAM or COMSOL) for structural, thermal, or fluid analysis.
• Familiarity with data analysis and programming tools (e.g., MATLAB, C++, Python, or R).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and testing protocols.
• Professional certifications or prior R&D project experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with standard working hours i.e. 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
