Job Responsibilities:


  • Generate leads, acquire clients, and close freight deals
  • Build and manage customer and carrier relationships
  • Negotiate rates and secure capacity for FTL, LTL, and more
  • Coordinate shipments with dispatch and resolve issues
  • Hit KPIs while working independently in a remote setting


Qualifications:

Must have


  • 2–3 years

    of hands-on experience in

    freight brokerage, transportation sales, or 3PL services

    .
  • Proven

    track record of closing sales

    and generating consistent revenue.
  • Strong

    understanding of domestic freight

    (FTL, LTL, reefer, flatbed, expedited) and logistics operations.
  • Excellent

    negotiation

    and

    relationship-building

    skills with both clients and carriers.
  • Strong verbal and written

    communication skills

    .
  • Proficiency in using

    CRM platforms

    (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Proficient with

    email tools

    ,

    Excel

    , and logistics software.
  • Ability to

    work independently

    in a remote setting with minimal supervision.


Preferred Skills & Attributes:


  • Experience working in a

    high-volume freight brokerage

    or 3PL environment.
  • Familiarity with

    TMS platforms

    (e.g., McLeod, DAT, Truckstop).
  • Knowledge of

    US and Canadian freight markets

    .
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
