Position Overview:

Freight Forwarding Sales Agent


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:

    Generate new sales opportunities within the freight forwarding industry, focusing on North American business lanes.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering business growth.
  • Tailored Freight Solutions:

    Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored freight forwarding solutions that meet their logistics requirements.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure the seamless execution of services for clients.
  • Performance Tracking:

    Meet and exceed sales targets while contributing to the company’s overall growth and expansion.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience

    in freight forwarding, with deep knowledge of logistics processes and North American business lanes.
  • Strong experience in identifying and closing sales opportunities within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships

    and effectively negotiate deals.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

    to manage both client and team relationships.
  • Knowledge of

    international shipping, freight forwarding,

    and

    logistics operations,

    with specific understanding of Canadian customs procedures.
