Freight Brokerage Sales Agent

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Cold Calling

    : Proactively generate new business opportunities through

    cold calling

    , networking, and leveraging an existing book of business (if applicable). Build and maintain a sales pipeline in the freight brokerage sector.
  • Sales & Business Development

    : Identify opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients, with a focus on

    North American freight brokerage business lanes

    .
  • Client Relationship Management

    : Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering continued business growth.
  • CRM Data Management

    : Input, track, and update all prospect and client data into our

    in-house CRM

    system, ensuring accurate records and seamless communication.
  • Email Campaigns & Outreach

    : Create and execute

    email campaigns

    to reach out to prospects, nurture leads, and keep in touch with current clients. Regularly follow up through email, phone calls, and other outreach strategies.
  • Rate Negotiation & Contract Management

    : Work closely with

    carriers

    to negotiate competitive rates while ensuring service quality and profitability. Manage sales contracts and service agreements.
  • Achieving Sales Targets

    : Meet and exceed

    monthly sales targets

    , focusing on both

    new client acquisition

    and revenue growth from existing accounts.
  • Collaboration

    : Collaborate with internal teams, including

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience

    in freight brokerage sales, with a strong understanding of

  • Experience with
