You will work directly with carriers, co-loaders, and overseas agents to prepare quotes, manage bookings, and ensure smooth cargo execution from pickup to final delivery. This role suits professionals who already understand freight forwarding workflows (especially ocean export/import) and can independently handle daily operations with precision and accountability. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Source and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and trucking partners. Prepare competitive pricing and quotations for both import/export RFQs and spot inquiries. Coordinate bookings, documentation, and compliance with carriers and overseas partners. Manage end-to-end shipment visibility through to final delivery, including pre-alerts, BL issuance, and D/O release. Work closely with our overseas WCA and JCTrans agents for routing, transshipment, and consolidation requirements. Collaborate with sales teams to support trade lane development and bid submissions. Ensure profitability through cost control, margin analysis, and operational efficiency. Maintain shipment data in CRM and TMS systems for internal reporting. 💼 Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of experience in international freight forwarding (air & ocean) — pricing or operations-focused. Strong understanding of carrier rate structures, surcharges, and INCOTERMS . Experience dealing with NVOCCs, shipping lines, and airline consolidators . Excellent communication and coordination skills with agents and carriers. Familiarity with customs documentation (B/L, AWB, ISF, manifest filing, etc.). Proficiency with TMS , Excel , and freight management systems. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
