Remedy Administrator

Purpose of the Job

• Will be responsible for the day to day operations of Remedy Application.
• Person will be responsible for administration and development in Remedy Application.

Deliverables

• Handling Operational tasks for Remedy
• Configuration and customization level changes in Remedy
• Periodic maintenance activities & troubleshooting
• Data Source – Data Integrity assurance remedy
• Coordination with L3 teams and users for incident and change management

Educational Level

Diploma Technical / Graduation

Work experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in BMC Remedy
• Remedy Administration, Smart IT, Web Services, CMDB and integrations.
• Candidate should be well versed with ITIL concepts and should have hands-on experience in BMC Remedy 7.5 / 7.6 /8.x/9.x/20.x
• Should have configuration and customization experience in Remedy ITSM modules.
• Experience in fault management Tool integration with Remedy
• Experienced in Remedy Application & Server level troubleshooting
• Good understanding of Server Group concepts & performance issue troubleshooting
• Good command on Linux
• Good command on Microsoft excel and Power point
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Netcool and Oracle exposure will be value add
• Responsible for day to day operations of OSS Application
• Work as part of a team to provide 24 x 7 support
• Respond to user requests within agreed SLA and provide timely update
• Co-ordinate with various teams on routine basis on issues/fixes etc.
• ITIL knowledge is desired
