About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to oversee and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple environments and deployment sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, and software delivery lifecycle management, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and manage all activities related to the release process across development, QA, staging, and production environments.

- Develop and maintain the release calendar.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure release readiness and risk mitigation.

- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

- Establish and enforce release governance, including version control and release documentation.

- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance release efficiency and reliability.

- Serve as the point of contact for all release-related communications and escalations.

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements during deployment and release cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7–10 years of experience in software release management, DevOps, or a similar role.

- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Experience in risk management and release planning for complex enterprise applications.

- Hands-on knowledge of version control systems (Git) and build tools (Angular, .NET).

- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to have:

- Certification in Agile or DevOps.

- Experience managing multiple parallel releases across multiple sites.
