About the RoleThe

Relationship Manager – First Wealth

is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring superior service delivery, and driving cross-sell opportunities. The role focuses on building CASA (Current Account Savings Account) balances, acquiring new clients, and enhancing product penetration per customer. Additionally, the role involves handling routine banking transactions, managing branch cash operations, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive CASA value build-up and acquire new clients as per branch targets.
  • Engage effectively with clients (100% customer met in a quarter) to identify needs and cross-sell suitable banking products.
  • Responsible for achieving Income Targets, both NII & NFI
  • Increase product holding per customer within the assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure all clients are profiled and offered relevant financial solutions.
  • Facilitate onboarding and usage of digital banking services (Mobile/Net Banking), FDs, bill payments, SIPs, credit cards, 3-in-1 Account, insurance, investments, and loans.
  • Responsible for customer grouping and upgrading eligible customers to relevant Programs
  • Ensure Program customers are meeting overall program criteria
  • Meet monthly operating plans to improve scorecard and decile rankings.
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers for closure of business loans, working capital, POS, CMS, and trade transactions.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer queries and complaints to meet Net Promoter Score (NPS) benchmarks.
  • Act as custodian of the branch vault, managing vault limits and all cash/non-cash transactions.
  • Ensure zero instances of cash shortages or excess at the teller counter.
  • Maintain and regularly update key registers and review daily branch reports (e.g., EOD cash position, LTR, instruments issued).
  • Monitor and reconcile dummy accounts, suspense accounts, deferred accounts, and accounts payable/receivable.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service to position the bank as the client’s primary financial partner.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in branch banking, customer relationship management, and banking operations.
Skills and Attributes
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Good understanding of banking products and digital platforms.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of compliance.
  • Ability to manage cash operations and branch-level transactions.
  • Fluent in English and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Target-driven with a focus on service excellence and customer satisfaction.
