Job Objective:

Support the Regulatory Compliance Centre Team in all RCC activities including Administrative work.Planning and coordinating with various parties to ensure smooth arrangements for RCC auditor’s visit to ships

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

Graduate degree

Work Experience:

At least 2 years working experience – desirable in administrative and support work related to Marine Safety, Quality and Environmental systems.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Good knowledge of basic Microsoft office applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Key Accountabilities:

Support BSM’s strategic goals

  • Support the Regulatory Compliance Centre team in all administrative functions, non-technical work including satisfactory and prompt completion of all other tasks otherwise assigned/allotted.

Processes and procedure compliance

  • Planning and coordinating with various parties to ensure smooth arrangements for RCC auditor’s visit to ships and forwarding the related reports to the SMC, BSM Catering services or the CPO team as applicable.
  • Maintain audit-related records including feedback, process auditors’ invoices for settlement by corporate accounts.
  • Assist in updating QDMS for various BSM business entities. Continuous monitoring, follow up and updating of Flag Circulars / Group LPSQ Information, assistance to RCC Superintendents and SMC.
  • Update the Risk assessment (RA) library in PAL, based on suggestions / annual reviews from SMC.
  • Maintain the Master list of Certificates and Surveys in the PAL Certification module
  • Support in anti-piracy activities to SMC by issuing alerts, maintaining database of audits and service usage of security agencies (PMSC) etc.
  • Provide support in editing, publishing and releasing of Policy Note, Alerts and Bulletins.
