Role & responsibilities

To drive business growth through effective sales strategy execution, channel & customer management, and leading a high-performing sales team. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in sales processes.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Identify market opportunities and define strategic initiatives for growth.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and implement corrective actions as needed.

Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility through CRM tools.
  • Track performance vs. targets and ensure closure of key deals within timelines.
  • Drive funnel progression and conversion rates.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive service and issue resolution.
  • Develop customer retention and value-enhancement initiatives.

Channel Management

  • Manage channel partners for coverage, performance, and compliance.
  • Strengthen partner capability through engagement, training, and motivation.
  • Expand partner network in high-potential geographies.

Sales Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training & capability development.
  • Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Market Development & Expansion

  • Drive penetration in existing markets and expansion into new territories.
  • Identify and on board new business segments or customer clusters.
  • Represent the company in industry networks, exhibitions, and trade forums.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Provide management with timely market insights and performance updates.
  • Ensure alignment and smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives.
