Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., strong Excel skills). Knowledge of construction methods, material costs, and metallurgy is preferred. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing piping systems in accordance with engineering principles, industry standards, and safety regulations. Your role will involve collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and construction teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects. Your responsibilities will include having knowledge about all types of valves and fittings, deep understanding of valve standards and certification such as DIN, JIS, ANSI, developing technical specifications from Enquiry, communicating with clients and manufacturers, preparing technical offers for submission, reviewing P&ID of equipment, coordinating with the yard and manufacturer for finalizing technical details, preparing final documentation and delivery, preparing documents for final testing and commissioning, performing stress analysis using relevant software to ensure structural integrity and safety of piping systems, and planning and optimizing piping routes considering space constraints, safety, and accessibility for maintenance. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in piping design, engineering, and project execution. Design documentation required for the project based on information from Local and UAE offices. Preparation of Panel Drawings, Load Calculation, Data Sheets, Instrument data sheets. Creating accurate CAD drawings/documents from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits. Seamlessly integrating and working with Team Lead, Project Engineers and clients, to produce and alter drawings. Creating and continually updating project drawings lists. Printing various formats of drawing sets for projects. Systematically saving drawings/Documents on our server; keeping the server organized; Updating project folders and files as project progress and revisions are made. Exhaustively reviewing and checking drawings/documents for errors, before being sent to team Lead. Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain of something. Organizing and uploading drawings to web-based storage sites/collaboration project sites to share drawings with projects. Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects.
