Job Description

Hi,

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and managing the 3-wheeler vehicle loan business across the entire South. This role requires strategic planning, team management, and strong relationship-building with dealers, financiers, and key stakeholders to achieve business targets and ensure portfolio quality.

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

  • Achieve state-level/Regional level monthly and annual disbursement targets for 3-wheeler loans.
  • Drive penetration across all key markets and towns; identify and activate high-potential dealers.
  • Launch local promotional campaigns and partnerships to enhance visibility.

Dealer & Channel Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with multi-brand 3-wheeler dealers, DSAs, and channel partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely dealer onboarding.
  • Support dealers with product training and financing scheme updates.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and lead Area/Branch Sales Managers and field sales officers.
  • Monitor team performance through regular reviews and performance dashboards.
  • Design and implement incentive and motivation programs to maximize productivity.

Credit & Portfolio Quality

  • Coordinate with Credit and Risk teams to ensure strong portfolio health and low NPAs.
  • Monitor early delinquencies and assist collections team in resolving overdue accounts.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend strategic initiatives.
  • Provide regular business insights and feedback to senior management.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all operations follow company policies, RBI guidelines and regulatory norms.

Prepare and present periodic MIS and performance reports.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

    Graduate / MBA in Finance or Marketing preferred.
  • Experience:

    10-15 years in vehicle finance (3-wheeler or commercial vehicle loans), with at least 34 years leading state or regional sales teams.
  • Strong dealer network and established relationships with multi-brand 3-wheeler dealerships in South.
  • Proven track record of meeting aggressive sales and collection targets.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South region.
