Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our retail microfinance business in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Conduct microfinance business by identifying potential locations, driving business numbers, and maintaining a quality portfolio.
  • Lead a sales team of Area Sales Managers, Branch Managers, and Loan Officers to achieve targets.
  • Pursue additional business through partnerships and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Engage with staff, customers, partners, and peers to drive business growth.
  • Formulate new products that possess potential within the region and suggest improvements in existing products to ease processes and drive business growth.
  • Provide districts and pincodes with business potential to expand branch network and improve market share.
  • Ensure business growth and diversity of products in the region as per the business plan.
  • Maintain highest portfolio quality and collection efficiency.
  • Implement innovative strategies to achieve business numbers, avoid risky locations, and drive collections from delinquent, overdue, non-starters, and fraudulent customers.
  • Handle all queries pertaining to branches in the region.
  • Serve as a mentor to Loan Officers and Branch Managers to motivate and guide them, and be a strong support to drive business to Area Sales Managers.
  • Assist in hiring, recruitment, training, and motivation of field staff.
  • Disseminate information received from Field to Central Office and vice versa.
  • Ensure staff skill development through regular meetings and continuous monitoring of various clusters, identifying training needs based on market trends and new business opportunities.
  • Handle all Compliance, Audit, Legal, Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, Admin, HR, etc., related issues in the region.
  • Implement best business practices and develop company strategies and programs while ensuring strict compliance and integrity.
  • Adhere to all products, processes, and policies of the company.
  • Job
  • Post Graduate/Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales management, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of microfinance institutions and retail sales.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in implementing innovative strategies to achieve business numbers and drive collections.
  • Familiarity with handling all Compliance, Audit, Legal, Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, Admin, HR, etc., related issues.
  • Implementation of best business practices and development of company strategies and programs while ensuring strict compliance and integrity.
