Job Description

The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team. 

 

1. Sales & Market Development:

  • Drive primary and secondary sales targets for the region.
  • Monitor dealer / sub-dealer sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Plan and execute region-specific sales strategies for volume growth.
  • Identify high-potential markets and ensure new dealer onboarding.


2. Channel Management:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key dealers, distributors, and influencers (e.g., masons, contractors).
  • Ensure timely claim settlements, price communication, and service support to trade partners.
  • Oversee dealer loyalty programs, credit management, and satisfaction levels.


3. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, coach, and monitor a team of ASMs, SO’s, SR’s , Technical Functional Managers , TSO’s and TSR’s.
  • Allocate targets and review performance on a regular basis.
  • Conduct field visits and joint market working with team members.
  • Facilitate training and capability building of the sales team.


4. Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market demand.
  • Provide regular reports on region performance, trade issues, and market feedback.
  • Recommend pricing, scheme rollouts, and corrective actions based on market insights.


5. Marketing & Trade Promotion:

  • Implement trade marketing initiatives like retailer engagement programs, product displays, and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with marketing team for branding activities, local events, and BTL campaigns.
  • Ensure proper visibility and availability of marketing collaterals across dealer counters.
