This is regarding opening with a leading NBFC as a Regional Sales Manager - HL/LAP

Designation: Regional Sales Manager - HL/LAP

Experience; 10 to16 years

Location : Hyderabad

Role and responsibilities :

1. Strategy & Business Growth

  • Define and execute a regional growth strategy for HL & LAP products.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual disbursement targets for Home Loans and LAP.
  • Create territory/cluster-wise business plans, market maps, and rollout plans.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, interest rates, product changes, and suggest new product features.
  • Identify and enter new geographies or micro-markets in Hyderabad region.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage a sales force (Area Managers, Branch Sales Managers, Sales Executives) for HL/LAP vertical.
  • Set clear KPIs, targets, and monitor performance metrics (leads, conversions, closures).
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews, gap analysis and coaching.
  • Facilitate training on product, credit norms, sales techniques, compliance.

3. Channel / Partner Management

  • Build, manage, and expand a network of channel partners: DSAs, brokers, real estate agents, builders, property consultants.
  • Negotiate tie-ups, commissions, SLAs with partners.
  • Conduct partner training, reviews, incentive schemes, joint marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor quality of leads from channels, optimize channels for yield and cost.

4. Sales & Process Oversight

  • Oversee the entire sales funnel: lead sourcing application appraisal credit evaluation sanction documentation disbursement.
  • Coordinate with credit, operations, legal, technical, underwriting teams to ensure timely processing.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and streamline handoffs between functions.
  • Ensure proper documentation, KYC compliance, legal & technical norms, audit processes.
  • Monitor rejection causes, turnaround times (TAT), and work to reduce these.

5. Portfolio Quality & Risk Management

  • Monitor portfolio metrics: bounce ratio, delinquency, NPAs, stress accounts.
  • Work with credit and risk teams to flag, escalate, or act on risky accounts.
  • Ensure compliance to internal credit norms, regulatory guidelines, audit and risk policies.
  • Maintain discipline in collections, pre-NPA management where required.
