Job Description

As the Sales Manager for Google Maps Platform's Location Intelligence Platform "Smart Market", your primary responsibility will be to manage existing customers and actively seek out new business opportunities. You will be tasked with generating revenue across various business verticals and working closely with Partners and SIs to drive channel revenue. Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve Quarterly and Yearly Sales Quotas from both existing and new customers. In this role, you will be expected to develop innovative strategies to identify relevant opportunities, engage in joint business planning with customers, and provide tailored solutions to ensure their success. By defining key market segments, establishing strong seller relationships, and driving day-to-day interactions with client companies, you will contribute to long-term business engagement and growth. To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in IT Solution/application Sales within the BFSI, Logistics & Supply Chain, E-Commerce, Mobility, or Automobile segments. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is a mandatory requirement. Strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT/software services, and the ability to think strategically about business and product offerings are essential. The ideal candidate will be an active listener, a skilled presenter, and possess the ability to articulate compelling value propositions to customers of all sizes. You should be proactive in understanding customer needs, aligning internal resources to deliver effective solutions, and capable of engaging C-Level Executives. Your success will depend on your ability to accurately forecast sales, demonstrate business value, handle objections, and leverage referrals to your advantage.
