Job Title: Regional Optometry Trainer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Trainer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees at the store level. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive training sessions, assessing training needs, and evaluating program effectiveness by maintaining data hygiene
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and skill requirements
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and presentations
- Create engaging and interactive training materials, including manuals, guides, and multimedia resources
- Facilitate training sessions, ensuring active participation and effective knowledge transfer
- Evaluate training program effectiveness, gathering feedback and making recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine training content Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies
- Manage training records, reports, and evaluations
- Travel across all the stores and focus on Instore training
- Control Returns at the store and drive special lenses business
- Assist HR in Optometrist hiring and technical interview
- Submit weekly journey plan in advance to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in training, teaching, or a related field
- Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyze training needs and develop targeted solutions
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design models
- Proficiency in training software and multimedia tools
- Open to travel
Nice to Have:
-Certification in training, instructional design, or a related field
- Experience with e-learning platforms and authoring tools
- Familiarity with performance management and evaluation methodologies
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
