Job Description

Customer Retention & Service Manager

30-100 executives

Key Requirements:

  • 712 years of experience in

    customer service, retention, or account management

    within a

    B2B marketplace / digital sales environment.

  • Proven leadership experience handling large teams and meeting sales & retention goals.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and customer-relationship management skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to drive results in a fast-paced, target-based environment

Education:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Oversee and strengthen relationships with existing B2B customers to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
  • Retention & Upgradation:

    Develop and execute strategies to retain customers and upsell higher membership packages, digital solutions, or value-added services.
  • Team Leadership:

    Manage, mentor, and motivate a large team (30–100 executives) to deliver on customer service, renewal, and upgrade targets.
  • Cross-Location Coordination:

    Work closely with location heads and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent service standards and smooth customer management across all regions.
  • Training & Coaching:

    Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s skills in customer communication, product knowledge, negotiation, and service excellence.
  • Data-Driven Insights:

    Analyze customer engagement data, renewal trends, and team performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive business decisions.
  • Customer Profiling:

    Ensure customer data is regularly updated and enriched to improve visibility, matchmaking, and response performance on the platform.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    Coordinate with

    CRM

    SEO

    , and

    Product

    teams to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize online visibility, and improve lead quality and response rate for customers.
  • Sales & Target Orientation:

    Drive the team to achieve and exceed renewal, retention, and upgradation sales targets through field visits and tele-interactions.
  • Customer Delight:

    Ensure prompt issue resolution and proactive engagement to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty among key customers.
