Job Description

  • Lead the understanding of student needs in the local market, including expats and locals, and maintain an evidence base that can be shared with Senior Management Team.
  • Oversee market segmentation in each campus, industry sector, and age group, specifying sources of future growth through marketing, admissions, and communications plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive student recruitment growth, focusing on thought leadership and customer service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals, including Global, Regional, and Local teams.
  • Identify training needs and develop regional learning curriculum related to admissions, marketing, and communications.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Admissions and Marketing leaders to deliver against targets.
  • Actively advocate for education and the GEDU brand, serving as a visionary leader within the organization to motivate high-performing teams.
  • Analyze customer feedback data to determine satisfaction with company products and services, supporting program management team members to maximize enrolment.
  • Attend business meetings and provide training to new recruiting partners regularly, offering insight into product development and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze financial data and develop effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Assist the team in achieving student recruitment targets for each intake, sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders, recruiting partners, and customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and collaborate with company executives to determine viable approaches.
  • Meet with potential partners to present company offerings and negotiate deals, demonstrating commitment to GEDU values and regulations, including equal opportunities policy.
  • Minimize environmental impact in the performance of the role and actively contribute to the delivery of GEDUs' Environmental Policy.
  • Ensure Health and Safety responsibilities are met to ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a focus on international student recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of the education industry, including trends, challenges, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective strategies to drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with the ability to enhance relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Commitment to GEDU values and regulations, including equal opportunities policy.
  • A graduate degree is required for this position.
