Role Description

Regional Head - EAST


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :


1. Regional Sales Leadership

  • Own the P&L for the East Region and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Expand presence across Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar with a structured sales growth plan.
  • Drive project-based and institutional sales across multiple segments (corporates, hospitality, airports, education, infra contractors, government projects, etc.).

2. Channel & Distribution Management

  • Develop and manage distributors, channel partners, and dealers across the region.
  • Ensure product availability, forecasting, and inventory planning with partners.

3. Architect & Consultant Network

  • Build strong relationships with architects, MEP consultants, interior designers, PMCs, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct product presentations, specifications penetration, and project mapping.

4. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the regional sales team (ASMs, SOs, Channel staff).
  • Conduct weekly reviews, market visits, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure training, motivation, and capability-building of the team.

5. Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Identify new business opportunities and untapped territories in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
  • Understand competitor activities, pricing movements, and market trends.
  • Execute brand visibility plans, BTL activities, and product promotions in the region.

6. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure strong coordination with HO for supply chain, marketing, finance, and service.
  • Maintain CRM/SFA entries, reporting discipline, and project tracking.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through seamless after-sales coordination.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMEMTS:


  • 10–15 years

    of total experience in sales, business development, or regional management roles.
  • Minimum 5 years experience specifically in the West Bengal

    market is mandatory.
  • Strong background from industries like:
  • Building Material
  • Sanitaryware / Bath Fittings
  • Electricals / Lighting
  • HVAC / Plumbing
  • Industrial / Manufacturing Products
  • Architect & Consultant-driven project sales
  • Construction Material / Facility Management products
  • Proven experience handling a multi-state region in East India.
  • Strong network with architects, specifiers, contractors, and project influencers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the East Region.
