Job Description

As a Regional Manager, your role will involve overseeing and directing field collection operations for a large geographic region. You will be responsible for managing multiple Area Managers, Team Leaders, and Field Agents to optimize debt recovery, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with legal and company policies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategic plans for the region to meet collection goals and optimize performance. - Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Area Managers to set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations. - Overseeing and tracking the performance of all teams within the region to ensure collection targets are met. - Ensuring efficient and cost-effective field operations, including travel, logistics, and resource management. - Handling high-priority cases or issues escalated by Area Managers, Team Leaders, or Field Agents. - Analyzing data from across the region to identify key performance indicators and opportunities for improvement. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and legal standards. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region. - Identifying new opportunities to expand field operations or improve collection rates within the region. To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in data analytics and compliance knowledge. Additionally, you should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 10 years of experience in collections. This role will require you to primarily work in an office-based environment with regular travel across the region to manage multiple locations. You should be prepared for frequent travel and the flexibility to work extended hours when necessary. Your performance will be measured based on the overall debt recovery rate, achievement of regional collection goals, operational efficiency, compliance with legal and company policies, client satisfaction, and the performance of Area Managers and their teams. This position offers a career path towards roles such as National Operations Head, National Collections Manager, senior roles in financial services, risk management, or operations, and executive leadership roles.
