A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews, managing offers, and onboarding
- Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline by utilizing various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate success profiles to develop clear and compelling job descriptions and effective sourcing strategies
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience through timely communication, personalized touchpoints, and consistent follow-up throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's attractiveness to candidates
Requirements
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have' for the role:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in any related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tech Recruitment.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and explain technical concepts and requirements to both candidates and hiring managers
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Recruitment Tools: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and proficiency with platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and GitHub
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and internal teams
