Position: Regional Sales Manager – Pickles (FMCG) Location: Bangalore Industry: FMCG – Food Products (Pickles & Condiments) We prefer only FMCG industry personnels to apply ⸻ Candidate Profile • Proven experience in FMCG (Food) sector, ideally with pickles, condiments, or spices. • Strong knowledge of Bangalore’s GT market (local areas, distributor behavior, retailer expectations). Role Overview The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Pickles will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, execution, and growth of our pickle product line within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the FMCG sector, strong distributor and retail network connections, and a proven track record in driving sales performance. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve regional targets for pickle products. • Manage and expand the network of distributors, stockists, and retail partners. • Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Sales Representatives (SRs). • Monitor and ensure effective execution of trade promotions, schemes, and visibility initiatives. • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions. • Ensure timely collections, billing, and reporting through digital sales tools and SFA systems. • Conduct regular field visits and market audits to ensure brand presence and compliance. • Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to align supply with demand. ⸻ Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). • 5–10 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in the food/pickles/spices category. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Knowledge of modern trade, general trade, and rural distribution. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. • Proficiency with sales reporting tools and CRM/SFA systems. ⸻ KPIs • Sales Volume & Revenue Growth (monthly/quarterly/yearly) • New Distributor Onboarding & Channel Expansion • Team Performance and Target Achievement • Market Share Growth vs Competitors • Trade Scheme Effectiveness and ROI Show more Show less
