Refinery Shift Incharge

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all refinery operations during the assigned shift.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of expellers, boilers, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization units.
  • Monitor plant parameters and maintain process logs.
  • Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, E&I, Boiler, and Packing teams for continuous operations.
  • Handle shift manpower allocation and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure safety compliance, housekeeping, and discipline within the shift.

Instrument Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of process instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
  • Troubleshoot sensors, transmitters, PLC panels, and control systems.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all instruments.
  • Ensure proper functioning of SCADA / DCS-based monitoring systems.
  • Attend breakdowns and restore instrumentation systems promptly.
  • Maintain records of calibration and testing certificates.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance departments.

Lab Chemist

  • Conduct routine edible oil quality tests: FFA, Moisture, PV, IV, Color, Slip Melting Point, etc.
  • Perform sampling of raw materials, refined oil, and finished goods.
  • Maintain lab records, calibration logs, and test reports.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of lab chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any deviation immediately to QC Head & Operations.
  • Support operations by providing timely test results.
  • Ensure lab hygiene, safety, and compliance with ISO standards.


Security Supervisor

  • Supervise security guards and ensure proper deployment across all posts.
  • Monitor gate entry/exit, visitor management, vehicle checks, and material movement.
  • Maintain security registers, gate pass records, and daily reports.
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety and security rules.
  • Conduct patrols and identify security lapses.
  • Coordinate with HR/Admin during emergencies.
  • Manage shift rosters and handle absenteeism issues.
  • Train guards in firefighting, emergency response, and discipline.

Safety Supervisor

  • Ensure implementation of safety procedures, PPE compliance, and statutory norms.
  • Conduct daily safety rounds across refinery, boiler, packing, ETP, tank farm, etc.
  • Arrange safety trainings, toolbox talks, and induction for new employees/labours.
  • Investigate near-miss incidents and minor accidents; prepare reports.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance to enforce LOTO & permit-to-work systems.
  • Maintain safety records, MSDS, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure firefighting equipment and emergency systems are functional.
  • Support during audits (ISO, fire, statutory inspections).
