Job Role – Recruitment Officer A Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle — from identifying staffing needs to hiring qualified candidates. They work closely with hiring managers to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent in line with business goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Understanding Hiring Needs Coordinate with department heads and managers to identify current and future staffing requirements. Prepare job descriptions and specifications based on role requirements. 2. Sourcing Candidates Use job portals, social media, employee referrals, and networking to source potential candidates. Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs. 3. Screening & Shortlisting Review resumes and applications to match candidates with job requirements. Conduct initial screening interviews via phone, video, or in person. 4. Interview Coordination Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Prepare interview questions and evaluation forms when required. 5. Selection Process Assist in conducting interviews, assessments, or skill tests. Provide hiring recommendations based on candidate fit and assessment results. 6. Offer Management Prepare and issue offer letters to selected candidates. Negotiate salary and benefits within company guidelines. 7. Onboarding Support Coordinate with HR operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires. Assist in orientation programs and documentation. 8. Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain accurate recruitment records and databases. Provide regular reports on hiring progress and recruitment metrics.
