Recovery Officer

Job Overview:

As a Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for managing the digital collection efforts for a portfolio of customers who have not cleared their loans. You will be required to engage with customers through multiple communication channels (phone, email, SMS, etc.) to resolve overdue payments, negotiate repayment plans, and maintain customer relationships while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in digital collections, customer service, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and professional manner.
• Familiarity with digital collection tools, CRM systems, and other communication platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements related to debt collection is a plus.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a fintech or digital lending environment.
• Knowledge of collections strategies and tools.
