Reconciliation Specialist

Company Info:- A Reconciliation Specialist at Fareladder, a travel agency, is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records specific to the aviation and travel industry. This involves comparing internal financial data, such as records from their back-office systems (like TRAMS) and General Ledger (GL) accounts, with external statements from airlines and vendors to identify and resolve discrepancies related to fares, ticketing, and refunds.

Job Description:-

1) Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and specific travel-related accounts to ensure accuracy.

2) Identify discrepancies and variances in financial data, conducting investigations and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.

3) Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary reconciliations and documenting findings.

4) Maintain organized records of reconciliations and provide insights to improve reconciliation processes.

5) Collaborate with senior team members to streamline reconciliation procedures and enhance efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is typically required.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables, for data analysis and manipulation.
• Familiarity with travel industry specific systems, such as TRAMS or GDS back-office systems, is a strong asset.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
