Reconciliation Specialist

As an Associate - Reconciliation in the Finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records by reconciling various accounts and transactions. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliation of bank accounts, sales, purchases, and other financial transactions. - Identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. - Collaborating with internal teams to investigate and correct reconciliation errors. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date reconciliation documentation. - Developing and implementing efficient reconciliation processes and procedures. - Generating reports summarizing reconciliation results for management review. - Staying updated with industry best practices related to reconciliation processes. - Handling Vendor escalations and their queries. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements and possess the following skills: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MIS role. - Proficiency in using MS Excel. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Basic accounting knowledge is a must.
