Role Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls and manage appointment bookings. Manage the front desk and maintain a tidy reception area. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently. Provide information to clients about available services and pet care. Maintain patient records and manage client files with accuracy. Assist in billing and payment collection processes. Schedule follow-up appointments and reminders for clients. Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations. Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hospital policies. Assist in stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels. Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry. Maintain confidentiality regarding client and patient information. Support the team with miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus. Previous experience as a receptionist or related role is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle diverse situations. Proficient in using office software and equipment. Knowledge of veterinary terminology and practices is preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic financial management skills are a plus. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing job needs. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Proficient in time management and task completion. Compassionate and caring nature toward animals.
